The invention relates to steel ladle chromium-free stuffing sand which comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 97.5-98.5% of titanium calcium aluminate with the particle size of 1.2-0.1 mm; and 1.5-2.5% of a sintering agent, namely potassium feldspar and/or silica powder. According to the chromium-free ladle filler sand for the steel ladle, the titanium calcium aluminate is adopted as the main raw material to produce the ladle filler sand, and compared with chromium ladle filler sand, the influence of the ladle filler sand on the purity of tundish molten steel can be greatly reduced; moreover, the titanium calcium aluminate is an industrial by-product, the price is lower than that of the main raw material chromite of the current chrome stuffing sand, and the cost advantage is achieved.
