The invention relates to the technical field of bridge detection, in particular to a truss type arch bridge inspection device and a robot. The truss type arch bridge inspection device comprises a T-shaped track and an inspection robot. The T-shaped rail comprises a rail plate and a supporting plate arranged on one side of the rail plate, and the supporting plate is used for being connected with an arch rib. The inspection robot comprises a frame body, an upper roller, a lower roller, a driving mechanism and a detection mechanism. The upper rolling wheel and the lower rolling wheel are arranged on the two sides of the track plate correspondingly, abut against the track plate and are rotationally connected with the frame body; the driving mechanism is in transmission connection with the upper roller or the lower roller and used for driving the upper roller and/or the lower roller to rotate so as to move relative to the track plate; the detection mechanism is arranged on the frame body and used for detecting diseases. The problems that in the prior art, railway management and maintenance work usually occurs at night, the sight of manual arch bridge inspection work is poor, tools and equipment are inconvenient to carry, and potential safety hazards exist can be solved.
