The invention discloses an awning which comprises a driving device, a traction component, a parallelogram hinge mechanism and a plurality of turning plates, the driving device drives the traction component to reciprocate, the turning plates are arranged in parallel, and the end of each turning plate is arranged on the parallelogram hinge mechanism. The traction component can pull the parallelogram hinge mechanism to be unfolded or folded so that the multiple turning plates can be unfolded into a plane shape or folded into a compact shape. Due to the fact that the end of each turning plate is installed on the parallelogram hinge mechanism, each turning plate can be turned independently through different rod pieces on the parallelogram hinge mechanism in the unfolding or folding process, and even if the turning plate is installed on a slope or a place with a certain inclination angle, the turning plate can be unfolded or folded independently. According to the invention, the turning plates cannot be stacked and propped in the unfolding or folding process, the awning can be horizontally mounted and also can be obliquely mounted at a certain angle, and each turning plate can be stably and independently unfolded into a plane shape or folded into an inclined shape during oblique mounting.
