A toilet flushing device is provided with: a biometric information measurement sensor that measures biometric information of a user; a control unit that transmits biological information to a portable information terminal of a user; a wireless communication unit that can connect the control unit and the portable information terminal by wireless communication; and a storage unit, the control unit being capable of executing a registration mode in which identification information for identifying the portable information terminal and user information for identifying a user are associated and stored in the storage unit, executing user authentication for identifying the user information and the identification information if the authentication signal is received after the execution of the registration mode, and executing user authentication for identifying the user information and the identification information if the user authentication is executed. If so, a signal for connecting to the portable information terminal having the identification information determined by the user authentication can be transmitted.
