The invention discloses an application method of magnesium slag in a road building material. According to the method, an alkali-activated activity improving technology is adopted, so that magnesium slag particles are activated, decomposed and subjected to a depolymerization reaction. Si-O-Si and Si-O-Al are fractured and depolymerized to release a large amount of SiO4 < 4-> and AlO < 4-> in a high-alkali environment, and gel is generated to promote the improvement of the mechanical properties of a gelling system. A magnesium slag-based gelling system synergistic technology is adopted, the characteristics of different gelling materials are combined, a microstructure of a gelling system and distribution and interaction of different materials in the system are optimized, a more compact and uniform structure is formed, so that the overall performance is improved, mineral admixtures with different finenesses are blended according to a proper proportion by utilizing an Andriasen particle close packing theory, and the mineral admixture with different finenesses is prepared. 本发明公开了一种镁渣在筑路材料中的应用方法。本发明中,采用碱激发活性提升技术,促使镁渣颗粒活化分解并发生解聚反应。高强碱环境下Si‑O‑Si和Si‑O‑Al发生断裂并解聚释放出大量SiO44‑和AlO45‑,产生凝胶体促进胶凝体系力学性能提升。采用镁渣基胶凝体系协同技术,结合不同胶凝材料的特性,优化胶凝体系的微观结构,不同材料在体系中的分布和相互作用,形成更加致密和均匀的结构,从而提升整体性能,利用Andreasen颗粒紧密堆积理论,将不同细度的矿物掺合料以适当比例掺配,使得胶凝材料颗粒的级配在一定程度上接近紧密堆积状态,实现对水泥胶凝体系力学性能的提升。大幅度提高水泥稳定碎石抗裂性能。
