The invention provides a moss treatment coating which comprises a strippable coating and fibers dispersed in the strippable coating, the moss treatment coating is used for being coated on moss on the surface of a building, and after the moss treatment coating forms a film, the moss treatment coating and the moss adhered to the coating film are stripped from the surface of the building together. The invention provides a moss removal method which comprises the following steps: coating moss with the moss treatment coating, after the coating permeates into the moss and forms a film to kill the moss, uncovering the coating film, and pulling up the moss adhered to the coating film with roots. According to the moss treatment coating and the moss removal method, the moss removal convenience, effectiveness and safety are improved. The invention further provides a building surface renovating method which comprises the steps that after the moss on the building surface is removed according to the moss removing method, the building surface is coated with a building coating, the renovating method is more convenient and safer to construct, and the moss can be prevented from regrowing.
