An automatic lifting fence for an arresting cable is used for temporary isolation of an open type platform. The lock catch can break the arresting cable in emergency so as to relieve arresting or meet special requirements. The tensioning device converts lifting of the electric lifting assembly into stretching and retracting of the tensioning pull rope, the arresting cable is easily straightened and tightened, accurate cutting of the arresting cable during initial assembly is achieved, materials are saved, connection recovery after emergency breaking is achieved, labor is saved, operation is easy, and labor is saved. And the tension meter and the protection spring realize accurate tensioning of the arrester wire and prevent overrun. The lifting driving of the electric control lifting assembly to the sliding block or the gathering and dispersing box can be relieved by pulling out the connecting pin, so that stopping is arranged or relieved in emergency. A prohibition pin can prohibit the arresting cable from being lifted illegally to relieve arresting. The limiting clamp or the restraint strap enables the arresting cable to be evacuated at equal intervals when the arresting cable descends, and an arresting face is formed. The restraining hanging belts can reduce tension and friction force of the arresting cable to other parts. The whole machine operates intelligently under the control of a control system.
