The invention provides a municipal pipeline groove strake supporting trolley and a construction method. The municipal pipeline groove strake supporting trolley comprises a trolley body, a hoisting device, a walking device, a motor and an electrical system. The trolley body serves as a bearing component to be arranged above the walking device, the walking device is located at the bottom of the supporting trolley and makes contact with the ground, and the supporting trolley can be driven to different supporting positions during operation. The hoisting device is rotationally supported at the top of the trolley body through a rotary chassis and is used for hoisting operation in construction; the hoisting device and the walking device are electrically connected with the motor, and the motor provides a power source for trolley moving and hoisting. An electromechanical box for controlling a whole machine electrical system is installed in the middle of the top end of the trolley body. The supporting trolley can be used for the whole process of transverse plate pressing, transverse support mounting and transverse plate pulling-out, the pipeline hoisting and mounting procedures can be further completed through cooperation of multiple trolleys, and the municipal pipeline construction mechanization degree is remarkably improved.
