The invention discloses a solar drip irrigation system for a house and a drip irrigation method. The solar drip irrigation system comprises an intelligent control box, a main water tank; the water and fertilizer filtering integrated device is communicated with the main water tank; the heat-preservation water-saving planting box on each layer is connected with the main water tank and the water and fertilizer filtering integrated device through a water conveying pipe and a drip irrigation conveying pipe, and a humidity sensor is arranged in each heat-preservation water-saving planting box and electrically connected with the intelligent control box; the humidity sensor transmits detected humidity data of each heat-preservation water-saving planting box to the intelligent control box, the intelligent control box controls the main water tank and the water and fertilizer filtering integrated device to carry out water and fertilizer conveying control on each heat-preservation water-saving planting box, and automatic and accurate drip irrigation of balcony plants on each floor of a house is achieved. The method is beneficial to improving the planting survival rate of plants of residences with different heights, can reduce the labor management and time cost, improves the energy utilization rate, and achieves efficient drip irrigation.
