The invention discloses a digestion process of calcium carbonate. The digestion process specifically comprises the following steps: S1, preparing materials; s2, intermittent digestion treatment; s3, heat exchange and digestion acceleration treatment; s4, flue gas treatment; the invention relates to the technical field of lime slaking processing. According to the calcium carbonate slaking process, through cooperative arrangement of the driving assembly, the intermittent feeding assembly, the hopper and the slaking assembly, the purpose of automatically and intermittently conveying lime from the hopper into the slaking assembly is achieved, the smoke generation amount is reduced, meanwhile, circulating pushing of water in the slaking assembly can be achieved in the process, full contact of the lime and the water is guaranteed, and the slaking efficiency is improved. The arrangement of a heat exchange flow channel and an acceleration assembly is matched, heat generated by the reaction of lime and water is absorbed through one-way circulating flow of heat exchange liquid between the heat exchange flow channel and the acceleration assembly, meanwhile, heat exchange fins can be driven to enable a heat exchange barrel to rotate, and the reaction speed of the lime and the water is further increased; and high-efficiency guarantee is provided for digestion of calcium carbonate.
