Phase change toughened mullite silicon carbide castable and preparation method thereof
The invention relates to a phase change toughened mullite silicon carbide castable. The mullite-silicon carbide castable is prepared from the following components in parts by mass: 40-60 parts by mass of mullite, 10-25 parts by mass of fused alumina zirconia, 10-20 parts by mass of silicon carbide, 2-5 parts by mass of silica powder, 5-10 parts by mass of calcined alumina powder and 2-5 parts by mass of calcium aluminate cement, wherein each 100 parts by mass of the mullite-silicon carbide castable is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 40-60 parts by mass of mullite, 10-25 parts by mass of fused alumina zirconia, 10-20 parts by mass of silicon carbide, 2-5 parts by mass of calcined alumina powder and 2-5 parts by mass of calcium aluminate cement. A burning promoting agent accounting for 0.1-0.3 wt% of the raw materials and a water reducing agent accounting for 0.1-0.3 wt% of the raw materials are used as additives. The phase-change toughened mullite silicon carbide castable and the preparation method thereof have the advantages that performance reduction caused by easy oxidation of a mullite silicon carbide refractory material is reduced, the thermal shock resistance of the refractory material is remarkably improved, and the phase-change toughened mullite silicon carbide castable is suitable for steel ladle linings, blast furnace bottoms, molten iron tanks and the like. And the damaged part of the mullite silicon carbide brick can be repaired.
