The invention discloses an assembly type steel structure beam which comprises a first column body, a beam body and a second column body, the two ends of the beam body are embedded into the first column body and the second column body respectively, an adjusting mechanism used for adjusting the beam body is arranged on the second column body, and the lower end of the adjusting mechanism is connected with the beam body. The height of the cross beam can be adjusted through the adjusting mechanism in cooperation with equipment such as a jack, the cross beam can still be fixed when adjusted, falling of the cross beam is avoided, and the problems that in the prior art, adjustment is difficult, or the cross beam cannot be fixed during adjustment or the adjustment mode is too tedious are solved; and through fixation of the first fixing column, the second fixing column and the lead screw, it is guaranteed that the cross beam cannot shake or be unstable during adjustment, and the safety in the construction operation process is improved.
