The invention relates to an escape device and a passenger car using the escape device.The escape device comprises a window breaking device and a foldable escape rope ladder which can be used for people to climb when unfolded, and the escape rope ladder is provided with a head end used for being fixedly connected with a car body and a tail end used for being fixedly connected with the window breaking device; the window breaking device comprises a firing pin assembly used for impacting the side window glass and an auxiliary window pushing assembly used for pushing the broken glass out of the window to open the escape channel after the side window glass is broken. According to the escape device, the whole escape process is fully covered, the firing pin assembly of the window breaking device can break glass to achieve rapid window breaking, escape personnel can safely open an escape channel by means of the auxiliary window pushing assembly, and after the escape rope ladder is spread, the escape personnel can safely and rapidly escape out of a vehicle by means of the escape rope ladder; and the escape personnel can be smoothly delivered to the safe ground from the dangerous vehicle.
