Glazed ceramic material with low coefficient of thermal expansion
The present invention relates to a glazed ceramic material having a low coefficient of thermal expansion, which is used as the major raw material (65% to 85%) in a ceramic stoneware composition for making large-scale panels (greater than 1.4 meters), and also as the major raw material for making glazes (85% to 95%) that provide a water-resistant, protective and decorative surface for the large-scale panels. The frit provides a set of products (supports with glazed surfaces) with a very low coefficient of thermal expansion (hereinafter referred to as CTE). Furthermore, since factors such as melt viscosity or adhesion to a roller have been considered during development, the resulting ceramic composition can be processed in a conventional ceramic kiln. The glazed ceramic material has extremely low CTE, so that the glazed ceramic material can be used for replacing a glass ceramic material used for manufacturing the induction cooker. The glazed ceramic material can be used for coloring (supporting pieces and glazed surfaces) and decorating (glazed surfaces), so that new characteristics are added to the traditional induction cooker.
