The invention discloses a construction method of a large-span large-section steel structural beam. The construction method comprises the steps that the large-span large-section steel structural beam is divided into a plurality of beam sections; structural columns are erected at the two opposite ends of the installation position of the large-span large-section steel structural beam, and steel corbels are installed on the opposite sides of the two structural columns. A plurality of counter-force frames are erected on the installation position, and the counter-force frames are arranged at the butt joint position of every two adjacent beam sections or below the butt joint position of the large-span large-section steel structure beam and the bracket; an arching jack is installed on the counter-force frame; the beam section is hoisted, so that the two ends of the beam section are placed on the two adjacent counter-force frames respectively; a plurality of arching jacks are used for adjusting the inclination of a plurality of beam sections; the multiple beam sections are connected in a butt joint mode to form the large-span large-section steel structure beam, and the beam sections at the two ends of the large-span large-section steel structure beam are connected with the steel corbels. The problem that a conventional hoisting construction method for the steel structural beam is not suitable for construction of the large-span large-section steel structural beam is solved.
