A stake having a locking hinge that selectively moves the fence unit between a first position in which the fence unit constitutes part of the barrier wall with other fence units and a second position in which the fence unit is moved away from a position aligned with one or more adjacent fence units, the locking hinge being configured to selectively move the fence unit between a first position in which the fence unit forms part of the barrier wall with other fence units, and a second position in which the fence unit is moved away from a position aligned with one or more adjacent fence units. An opening is provided through the retaining wall, and other portions of the retaining wall are formed by the stake when in the first position.
