The invention discloses a foldable solar sunshade and a using method thereof.The sunshade comprises a support, a foldable solar panel, an elastic supporting mechanism, a supporting rod and a driving mechanism, and the support comprises a front side plate and a rear side plate; the solar panel is mounted between the front side plate and the rear side plate; the driving mechanism comprises a pull wire and a reel, and the reel can rotate and is synchronously mounted on the rear side plate in a transverse moving manner; one end of the stay wire is connected to the reel, and the other end of the stay wire is connected to the front end of the solar panel or the front side plate; the elastic supporting mechanism is connected between the front side plate and the rear side plate and can be positioned on the surface of the solar panel in a folding manner along with the solar panel; the supporting rod is connected to the front side plate. The sunshade can be rapidly and flexibly folded and stretched, and convenient conditions are provided for camping of a user; the stay wires can be uniformly arranged during rolling, so that the phenomenon of wire jamming is avoided, and the folding smoothness of the sunshade is improved; meanwhile, the elastic supporting mechanism and the supporting rod can be folded and stored in the support, and carrying and transportation are convenient.
