An adjustable mounting bracket assembly for mounting an electronic device to a ceiling suspension system is disclosed. The adjustable mounting bracket assembly includes a clamp, a device holder, and a base member having a plurality of first apertures. The clips are disposed spaced apart from each other and configured to engage opposite edges of a beam of a ceiling suspension system. Each clip includes a locking knob, where each of the locking knobs is configured to be received within one of the plurality of first apertures to attach the clip to the base member, and the plurality of first apertures are arranged to allow the clip to be attached to the base member in a plurality of configurations, the various configurations include different separation distances between the clamps. A device holder is coupled to the base member, wherein the device holder is configured to mount an electronic device to the adjustable mounting bracket assembly.
