Mineral-based expandable foams
The present invention relates to mineral-based expanded foams based on: one or more foam stabilizers; one or more pore forming agents selected from the group consisting of ammonium salts or basic salts including carbonate salts or bicarbonate salts; optionally, one or more fillers; and optionally one or more additives, characterized in that the mineral-based expansive foam is additionally based on: a polymer of one or more protective colloid-stabilized ethylenically unsaturated monomers in the form of an aqueous dispersion or a powder that can be redispersed in water; one or more pore formers selected from the group consisting of aluminum and silicon and alloys thereof and calcium carbide; and 30 wt.% to 95 wt.% of cement, relative to the dry weight of the mineral-based expansive foam, with the proviso that the proportion of the potential pore former is > = 10 wt.%, relative to the total weight of the pore former and the potential pore former.
