The coating material is prepared from the following components in percentage by weight: 20 to 40 weight percent of silicon carbide, 10 to 20 weight percent of carbon black, 5 to 15 weight percent of polyvinyl alcohol, 5 to 10 weight percent of glycerol and 25 to 60 weight percent of water. The coating material provided by the invention not only effectively overcomes the problem of non-uniform distribution of different phases on the surface of the carbon-ceramic brake disc so as to effectively relieve the problem that the friction coefficient fluctuation of a friction pair is relatively large, but also has relatively good wear resistance.
