The invention relates to an intercepting device for traffic transportation overload early warning, a same rotating shaft is rotationally connected between the inner walls of the two sides, provided with a rectangular groove, of the top of a base, and the outer wall of the rotating shaft is fixedly sleeved with a rotating plate; the card punching prevention assembly is arranged on the rotating plate and is used for preventing a vehicle from punching a card; the tops of the transverse plates on the sides, away from each other, of the two side plates are slidably connected with two symmetrically-arranged supporting rods, the outer walls of the supporting rods are slidably sleeved with sleeve plates, and the same mounting plate is fixedly connected between the two sleeve plates on the same side. The height limiting assembly is arranged at the bottom of the mounting plate and is used for detecting the limited height of the vehicle; the adjusting assemblies are divided into two groups and are arranged on the two supporting rods on one side; the control assembly is arranged on the inner wall of the bottom of the rectangular groove and used for controlling rotation of the rotating plate. The overload intercepting device solves the problems that when an existing overload intercepting device is used, the situation of blocking is prone to occurring, and when height limiting measurement is conducted on different types of vehicles, height adjustment is complex, and efficiency is low.
