The invention discloses a posture retainer for an offshore oil containment boom. The retainer adopts a segmental design and comprises a supporting pipe, an oil containment boom fixing toggle clip and a fastening steel wire rope. A steel wire rope is arranged in the supporting pipe, the two ends of the supporting pipe are provided with a spherical surface and a bowl surface which are matched with each other, the oil containment boom fixing toggle clip is provided with a rubber suction cup to ensure tight attachment with the oil containment boom, the supporting pipe is connected with the fixing toggle clip in a welded mode, the overall structure is stable, and the enclosure strength and the effective enclosure shape are ensured. The retainer forms a circle or a semicircle with certain strength by adjusting the tightness of the steel wire rope, so that the sea wave impact is effectively resisted, and the enclosing and shielding posture of the oil containment boom is kept.
