A method of manufacturing a substantially crack-free carbon foam structure and a carbon foam structure manufactured in a one-piece flow through a continuous kiln at atmospheric pressure in an inert atmosphere. According to the process, the manufacturing cost is greatly reduced by reducing the manufacturing time and improving the capability of integrating automation equipment.
