Method for preparing ultralight ceramsite from molybdenum tailings, iron tailings and waste glass powder
The invention relates to a method for preparing ultralight ceramsite by utilizing molybdenum tailings, iron tailings and waste glass powder, the ultralight ceramsite is prepared from the following raw materials in parts by mass: 40-70 parts of molybdenum tailings, 10-40 parts of iron tailings and 5-20 parts of waste glass powder, and 0.3-0.5 wt.% of SiC is added on the basis of the total weight of the molybdenum tailings, the iron tailings and the waste glass powder; the molybdenum tailings, the iron tailings and the waste glass powder are subjected to ball milling and sieving and then are uniformly mixed with SiC, water is added for granulation, drying and sintering are performed, the ultra-light ceramsite is obtained, the density of the ultra-light ceramsite is smaller than 500 kg/m < 3 >, and the water absorption rate is lower than 4%. The ultra-light ceramsite is prepared through collaborative sintering of mineral composition characteristics and chemical composition differences of the molybdenum tailings, the iron tailings and the waste glass powder, effective utilization of waste resources such as the molybdenum tailings, the iron tailings and the waste glass powder can be achieved, and the ultra-light ceramsite with the density lower than 500 kg/m < 3 > and the water absorption lower than 4% is obtained.
