Method for preparing silicon carbide ceramic from silicon carbide production waste and silicon carbide ceramic
The invention provides a method for preparing silicon carbide ceramic from silicon carbide production waste and the silicon carbide ceramic, and the method comprises the following steps: (1) pretreating the silicon carbide production waste to obtain silicon carbide powder; (2) mixing sodium p-styrenesulfonate, sodium hydrogen sulfite, an acrylic monomer, allyl polyether, persulfate and a first solvent to obtain a modifier; and (3) carrying out modification treatment on the silicon carbide powder obtained in the step (1) by using the modifier obtained in the step (2) to obtain modified silicon carbide powder, and preparing the silicon carbide ceramic by using the modified silicon carbide powder. According to the method, sodium p-styrenesulfonate, an acrylic monomer and allyl polyether are used as raw materials, a modifier is obtained under the action of a persulfate initiator, and the modifier is used for surface modification of silicon carbide powder, so that aggregation of the modified silicon carbide powder in the ceramic preparation process is reduced; the ceramic slurry with lower viscosity and good dispersion is obtained, so that the silicon carbide ceramic with higher compactness and higher hardness is obtained.
本发明提供了一种碳化硅生产废料制备碳化硅陶瓷的方法及碳化硅陶瓷,所述方法包括:(1)对碳化硅生产废料进行前处理,得到碳化硅粉料;(2)混合苯乙烯磺酸钠、亚硫酸氢钠、丙烯酸单体、烯丙基聚醚、过硫酸盐与第一溶剂,得到改性剂;(3)以步骤(2)所得改性剂对步骤(1)所得碳化硅粉料进行改性处理,得到改性碳化硅粉料,以改性碳化硅粉料制备碳化硅陶瓷。所述方法利用苯乙烯磺酸钠、丙烯酸类单体与烯丙基聚醚作为原料,在过硫酸盐引发剂的作用下得到改性剂,采用改性剂对碳化硅粉料进行表面改性,减少了改性碳化硅粉料在陶瓷制备过程中的聚集,得到了粘度较低且分散良好的陶瓷浆料,从而得到紧密型较高及硬度较高的碳化硅陶瓷。
