The invention relates to an initial rain storage pond structure which is characterized in that a storage pond is divided into a grit chamber and water storage ponds, one end of the grit chamber in the extension direction is connected with a water inlet pipe, the other end of the grit chamber is provided with a grit water storage room, one end of each water storage pond in the extension direction is provided with a submersible centrifugal pump, and the other end of each water storage pond is provided with a flushing water storage room; an overflow port, a grit water storage chamber and a grit chamber are formed in the position, close to the top, of the shared side wall of each part, each washing water storage chamber and the water storage tank are provided with a gate type washing system at the bottom of the shared side wall, a water inlet pipe is separated from a water inlet of the water storage tank through the grille cleaner, and a grit raising pump is arranged on the grit chamber and located on one side of the grille cleaner. An inlet of the sand-water separation equipment is communicated with the sand raising pump, a water outlet of the sand-water separation equipment and the submersible centrifugal pump are connected into a sewage treatment plant, and all the electric control equipment is in signal connection with the control system.
