The invention relates to the technical field of road section construction, in particular to a cross-road section steel-concrete composite beam lightweight construction method which comprises the following steps: S1, pretreatment: firstly, building a support beam frame across a road surface, and then setting construction safety measures, so as to complete mounting of a pier top support and realize pretreatment before construction; and S2, mounting treatment is conducted, specifically, the light-weight construction device for the cross-road-section steel-concrete composite beam is hoisted to the position between the supporting beam frame and the support through existing hoisting equipment. According to the invention, the mounting mechanisms can be conveniently and stably hung between the support beam frame and the top of the support through the hanging rings, so that the ends, far away from the propping plate, of the mounting mechanisms are clamped with the port of the road section to be connected, and the beam strips and the side strips on the two sides of the top plate are replaced, so that the side strips are used at the edges of the top plate, close to the outer sides, of the two mounting mechanisms on the edges; the edge of the top plate close to the inner side is provided with a beam strip, and meanwhile it is ensured that the two sides of the top plate of the installation mechanism located in the middle are provided with the beam strips.
