The invention discloses a flood discharge gate monitoring system which comprises a foundation and a gate seat, a gate plate is rotatably mounted on the gate seat, and a driving mechanism is further arranged on the foundation and used for driving the gate plate to open or close. The stroke sensor is used for detecting the deflection angle of the gate plate, the pressure sensor is used for detecting the pressure at the joint of the gate plate and the driving mechanism, and the driving mechanism can be movably connected to the gate seat through an elastic mechanism; by arranging the driving mechanism, the driving mechanism is connected with the gate seat through the elastic mechanism, so that the driving mechanism, the gate plate and the gate seat are in flexible contact, and when the gate plate is borne by a large load, abrasion caused by the large load bearing can be buffered through the flexible contact among the driving mechanism, the gate plate and the gate seat; the situation that the driving mechanism and the flashboard bear large-load bearing caused by water flow for a long time, the flashboard and the driving mechanism are seriously abraded, and consequently the flashboard is clamped when the flashboard is opened or closed is avoided.
