The invention discloses a deep covering layer circulating water pumping desilting steel sheet pile cofferdam and a construction method. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, steel sheet piles of the needed specification are customized; then, positioning piles and guide beams are mounted at preset positions, and limiting frames are arranged to ensure that the steel sheet piles are accurately inserted; then, a first-layer supporting structure is constructed, steel sheet piles are sequentially and vertically driven into a rock stratum, and the cofferdam is formed; and then, after water is pumped into the cofferdam to a certain height, a second layer of support is established, and water level balance is recovered. And then, excavating earthwork at the bottom of the cofferdam, pouring underwater concrete by adopting a vertical pipe method, pumping water again after the concrete is hardened, and additionally arranging a third layer of support. And finally, the stability and the stress condition of the cofferdam are continuously monitored, and reinforcement measures are taken when necessary to ensure the engineering safety. The steel sheet pile cofferdam technology of cofferdam dewatering and supporting composite supporting is adopted, the firmness of the cofferdam structure in the whole construction process is guaranteed, the construction safety is improved, and the risk is reduced.
