The invention relates to the technical field of dewatering construction, in particular to a local dewatering structure for an elevator shaft or a sump. A gravel layer, a cushion layer and a foundation layer are arranged at the bottom of the elevator shaft or the sump from bottom to top, the middle of the gravel layer is concave inwards to form a dewatering pit, supporting steel pipes are longitudinally arranged on the lower portion of the foundation layer, the bottom ends of the supporting steel pipes extend downwards to the top of the dewatering pit, and waterproof materials are laid in the cushion layer. A water pump is arranged in the dewatering pit, the water outlet end of the water pump is connected with a water pipe, and the top end of the water pipe penetrates through the foundation layer in an inner cavity of the supporting steel pipe to be discharged outwards. The structure is simple and easy to implement, convenient to construct and low in cost, the quality of the elevator shaft and the sump can be guaranteed to a great extent, the construction efficiency is greatly improved, the construction period is greatly shortened, and meanwhile labor can be saved.
