The method relates to the technical field of vehicle control, and comprises the following steps: determining that a vehicle has a collision risk, and generating a collision early warning signal; judging whether the driver and the passenger fasten a safety belt or not; and controlling the side window at the position of the driver without the safety belt to be adjusted to a closed state, and controlling the side window at the position of the driver with the safety belt to be opened to a preset side window opening degree. Therefore, when the vehicle collides, the safety of a driver and passengers without fastening the safety belt can be guaranteed, ventilation and air dissipation are conducted in time, smoke generated by detonating the air bag is exhausted, communication and rescue between rescue workers and people in the vehicle are facilitated, and meanwhile the window breaking difficulty during rescue is reduced.
