The invention belongs to the technical field of building materials, and particularly discloses sludge unfired ceramsite and a preparation method and application thereof.The sludge unfired ceramsite is of a three-layer sandwich core-shell structure, an inner core layer is prepared from sludge, biochar, cement, silica fume, fly ash, water glass, gypsum, rubber powder and glass beads, a middle layer is cement slurry, and the inner core layer is made of water; the shell layer is prepared from the following raw material components: sludge, cement, silica fume, fly ash, water glass and gypsum. According to the invention, sludge and cement are used as main raw materials, and a certain amount of water glass, gypsum, glass beads and solid waste silica fume and fly ash are used as auxiliary materials; the unfired ceramic particles are prepared by fully utilizing the sludge, the fly ash and the rubber powder as well as the specific biochar and the rubber powder, optimizing and reasonably compounding the raw materials and constructing a three-layer sandwich core-shell structure, and the light weight, low water absorption and high barrel pressure strength of the ceramsite are realized on the premise of ensuring high sludge utilization rate.
