The invention discloses a construction method for a steel sheet pile cofferdam in a dense sand soil stratum. The construction method comprises the following steps that firstly, steel sheet piles on the two opposite sides of the cofferdam are constructed; after a guide frame is adopted for limiting when the steel sheet piles are driven, the steel sheet piles on the two sides are driven into soil; wherein the guide frame comprises a guide frame body and a pressing assembly; the whole guide frame body is of a cuboid structure, a plurality of through installation openings are formed in the top of the guide frame body, the shape and the specification of the installation openings are matched with those of steel sheet piles, the installation openings are alternately and reversely connected, arranged and communicated, and the size of the installation openings is 5-10 mm larger than that of the steel sheet piles; and mounting grooves are formed in the top of the guide frame body at intervals of one mounting hole. The pile forming structure is stable, the driving perpendicularity of the steel sheet pile is guaranteed, and the construction efficiency is improved.
