The method comprises the following steps: selecting an aerogel material as a sprayed body; selecting a coating material according to a use environment and a temperature-resistant range of the aerogel material; a thermal spraying process is adopted, the anti-scouring protective coating is prepared on the surface of the aerogel material through spraying deposition by setting spraying process parameters, and the spraying process parameters include that the spraying power is set between 25 KW and 50 KW, the spraying speed is set between 500 mm/s and 3000 mm/s, and the spraying distance is controlled between 10 mm and 80 mm. The deposition of the protective coating which is high in quality, uniform in distribution, high in cohesion strength and excellent in anti-scouring performance is realized by accurately controlling thermal spraying process parameters.
