The top of the driven gear is engaged with a first rack, and the end, away from the driven gear, of the first rack is fixedly connected with a connecting plate. The invention discloses an asphalt pavement damage detection process. The detection process comprises the following steps: S1, firstly, continuously shooting a pavement by using a vehicle-mounted high-resolution camera; through cooperation of structures such as a first balancing weight and a second balancing weight, the gravity center of the device is facilitated, a motor is started conveniently, a driving gear rotates and drives a transmission gear meshed with the driving gear to rotate reversely, and therefore a driven gear is driven to rotate to enable a first rack to move rightwards, and the first balancing weight is driven to slide rightwards in a sliding groove.
