The invention relates to the technical field of bathroom closestools, and discloses a siphoning type closestool which comprises a flushing flow channel and a closestool body, and a seat pool is arranged in the closestool body; the flushing runner comprises a water inlet section and a flushing section, a water inlet is formed in one end of the water inlet section and located in the rear side of the closestool body, the other end of the water inlet section is communicated with one end of the flushing section, and the bottom of the water inlet section protrudes upwards to form a water retaining weir. The water retaining weir divides the flushing flow channel into an upper layer cavity located above the water retaining weir, a water storage cavity and a water drainage cavity, the water storage cavity and the water drainage cavity are located on the two sides of the water retaining weir respectively, the water storage cavity is located on the side close to the water inlet and communicated with the water inlet, and the water storage cavity and the water drainage cavity are communicated through the upper layer cavity. The flushing effect of the closestool can be optimized, the bubble phenomenon in the flushing process is effectively avoided, and water splashing is avoided.
