The invention discloses an automatic rainwater collection and water supply system for a road green belt, which comprises a rainwater collection box and an irrigation assembly, and the irrigation assembly is used for conveying rainwater collected in the rainwater collection box to the green belt for irrigation; a water inlet is formed in the upper portion of the rainwater collecting box, and external rainwater can enter the rainwater collecting box through the water inlet to be collected. The irrigation assembly comprises a water pump, a conveying pipe, a plurality of branch pipes, a plurality of sprayers and a plurality of protection assemblies, one end of the conveying pipe communicates with the interior of the rainwater collecting box, the water pump is installed on the conveying pipe, the branch pipes are installed on the conveying pipe, and the sprayers and the protection assemblies are installed on the branch pipes; the protection assembly covers the spray head and provides protection for the spray head. The protection assembly is arranged to protect the spray head, dust and impurities can be effectively prevented from being accumulated at the spray head, and therefore the irrigation effect is guaranteed.
