The invention discloses composite fluorescent ceramic for laser illumination and a preparation method of the composite fluorescent ceramic. The composite fluorescent ceramic is prepared by co-firing YAG: Ce fluorescent ceramic and YAG transparent ceramic, the surface of the YAG: Ce fluorescent ceramic is provided with a micro convex lens array structure, the YAG: Ce fluorescent ceramic is used for improving the emergent angle of photons and obtaining collimated forward light, and the YAG transparent ceramic is used for collecting heat generated by a fluorescent layer and transferring the heat. The YAG transparent ceramic and the YAG: Ce fluorescent ceramic are tightly bonded together by adopting a co-firing scheme, and the prepared composite ceramic realizes high-brightness white light emission under the excitation of a blue light LD chip with the wavelength of 455nm, and can bear the excitation power density of 65W/mm < 2 >-75W/mm < 2 >, the luminous efficiency of 220-260lm/W and the light beam divergence angle of 90-110 degrees.
