The invention discloses a pouring type asphalt concrete core wall heightening method and structure in a low-temperature environment. The asphalt concrete core wall heightening structure is formed through pouring according to the following steps that firstly, a newly-added core wall is prepared; 2, a cleaning and leveling stage; 3, heightening the wall body; 4, softening the asphalt; fifthly, the dam body is piled up; and sixthly, a protection layer is installed. By means of the steps, on the basis of the built pouring type asphalt concrete core wall dam, the core wall is heightened, the newly-poured core wall and the old core wall are fully combined into a whole, and the unique connection mode of the top of the core wall and the wave wall is beneficial to dispersing the pressure of the wave wall to protect the core wall; according to the method, an existing structure can be fully utilized, the investment for heightening the core wall is saved, construction is convenient, construction can be rapidly completed in a low-temperature environment, the anti-seepage area of the dam can be increased, the anti-seepage effect of the whole dam is improved, the dead weight of the dam is increased along with the increase of the height of the core wall, and the stability of the dam is improved.
