The rectangular column formwork assembly structure comprises a plurality of formwork units, a plurality of first plates and a plurality of second plates, the multiple formwork units are enclosed and assembled to form a rectangular pouring formwork, and a plurality of positioning protrusions are arranged on the outer side of the periphery of the rectangular pouring formwork; the multiple positioning protrusions are distributed at intervals in the height direction of the rectangular pouring formwork. The plurality of first plates are separately arranged on two opposite outer side walls of the rectangular pouring template, and the plurality of second plates are separately arranged on the other two opposite outer side walls of the rectangular pouring template; positioning holes matched with the positioning bulges in an inserting manner are formed in the first plate piece and the second plate piece in a penetrating manner; the two first plates and the two second plates which are located at the same height define a rectangular locking ring, the first plates are provided with first locking pieces used for driving the two adjacent second plates to be close to each other, and the second plates are provided with second locking pieces used for driving the two adjacent first plates to be close to each other.
