The invention discloses an assembly type steel structure platform canopy and a mounting method.The assembly type steel structure platform canopy comprises a steel frame body, canopy plates and anchoring assemblies, the anchoring assemblies are used for anchoring the steel frame body to a concrete foundation of a platform, and the steel frame body comprises a supporting structure, a ceiling mounting structure and limiting parts; the ceiling mounting structure comprises a first extending part and a second extending part, the first extending part and the second extending part are located on the two sides of the supporting structure respectively, a hinge structure can be connected between the ceiling mounting structure and the supporting structure, and the hinge structure is a detachable structure; the limiting piece is used for preventing the second extending part from rotating downwards, and a first fastening piece is connected between the limiting piece and the supporting structure; and a second fastener is connected between the ceiling mounting structure and the supporting structure. According to the hoisting device, hoisting of the steel frame main body can be safer and more convenient.
