The flange element (20) further comprises a radially inwardly extending inner flange portion (21) comprising an inner front side (29) having an inner front surface (30) for connection to a mating structure, and an attachment portion (22) extending from a rear side (25) adapted to be securely attached to the tubular element (26). The inner and outer flange portions (21, 44) are partially separated by at least one annular groove (70) extending between the inner and outer flange portions (21, 44) from a position between the inner and outer front surfaces (30, 31) towards a position at a distance from the rear side (22).
