The invention discloses a slope greening planting structure and method. The greening planting structure comprises planting holes, degradable guard devices and nursery stocks. The planting holes are dug in the side slope; the degradable guard device is of a semi-closed baffle structure, one part of the degradable guard device is inserted and buried in the downstream side of the planting hole at the downstream hole opening of the planting hole, the other part of the degradable guard device is higher than the downstream hole opening of the planting hole, and a semi-surrounding structure is formed for the nursery stock in the planting hole on the downstream side. According to the technical scheme, the greening planting structure can effectively resist water flow impact and can store water in zones with serious water flow impact, extremely large slope gradient and poor water retention conditions, so that the soil condition and the water condition of seedling planting points are improved, and the landscape engineering quality is improved.
