The invention provides a muck-based geopolymer as well as a preparation method and application thereof, and relates to the technical field of resource utilization of building materials. The muck-based geopolymer provided by the invention is prepared from the following raw materials: waste slag, water glass and water, and water; the waste slag charge comprises engineering muck and slag, and the mass content of the engineering muck in the waste slag charge is smaller than or equal to 70%; the mass of Na2O in the water glass accounts for 1.5-7% of the mass of the waste slag; the total mass of the water in the preparation raw materials accounts for 30-45% of the mass of the waste slag. The unfired, energy-saving, environment-friendly and high-strength muck-based geopolymer is prepared by taking engineering muck and slag as gel materials and utilizing an alkali excitation technology and reasonably controlling the proportion. A large number of different types of solid wastes are consumed, and meanwhile a large number of natural resources are saved. The muck-based geopolymer has the characteristics of high strength, low consumption of the alkali activator, low carbon, emission reduction and the like.
