The invention belongs to the technical field of railway ballast track stone ballast tamping, and discloses a railway stone ballast impact type tamping trolley which comprises a tamping mechanism, the tamping mechanism comprises a sliding shell, a motor is fixedly connected to the side face of the sliding shell, and a gear is rotationally connected to the motor; through the cooperation of the internal combustion tamping pickaxe, the motor, the electric push rod and other structures, stone ballasts can be tamped conveniently, the internal combustion tamping pickaxe is started, the angle electric push rod and the horizontal electric push rod are started to adjust the angle of the internal combustion tamping pickaxe and the position of the pickaxe head, and meanwhile the tamping pickaxe electric push rod is started to drive the pickaxe head to tamp the stone ballasts under the sleeper; the pressure value is displayed on a control screen through a pressure sensor on the electric push rod of the internal combustion tamping pick, so that the compaction degree of ballast bed stone ballasts is determined, when the pressure value does not reach a required value, the stone ballasts under the sleeper are tamped repeatedly until the required pressure value is reached, and at the moment, the pick head is lifted through the electric push rod of the tamping pick; then the sliding shell transversely moves to the next position through rotation of the gear, then the pickaxe is put down, ballast under the sleeper is tamped, and an operator can adjust the angle of the internal combustion tamping pickaxe and the position of the pickaxe head according to the actual site situation to increase the tamping frequency of the ballast under the sleeper; and the compactness and the uniformity of the ballast bed stone ballasts after tamping and the tamping quality are well controlled.
