The invention discloses a debris flow three-dimensional grating dam and a construction method thereof. The three-dimensional grating dam comprises a foundation part, a rod piece system, a dam top part, a monitoring and early warning system and a power supply system. In the assembly integral type design, the foundation part is arranged and poured according to the terrain, the rod piece system is in an assembly integral type, and assembly adjustment of a frame main body structure and the grating and system internal force transmission are achieved by means of symmetrically inserting the two ends of a beam into axial grooves of frame columns, inserting supporting columns into connecting openings, filling and adjusting independent cushion blocks, additionally arranging shock insulation elements and the like. The invention discloses a dam crest assembly type tensioning rod piece system. And the monitoring and early warning system monitors dam body and environment dynamic states.
