The invention relates to the field of foundation pit support, in particular to a double-row pile support structure and a construction method thereof. The building envelope comprises front-row piles, front-row pile waist beams, front-row waist beam supporting brackets, anchor cables, anchor heads, rear-row piles, rear-row pile waist beams, front-row waist beam supporting brackets, anchor cables and anchor heads. The upper portions of the front-row piles and the upper portions of the rear-row piles are connected through the anchor cable structures, the anchor cable structures are fixed through the pile waist beams and the anchor heads, and the anchoring cantilever type enclosure structure is formed. The front-row pile waist beam is supported by a front-row waist beam supporting bracket; when the front-row piles are combined by the steel pipe piles and the steel sheet piles, the front-row steel pipe piles and the steel sheet piles are connected through rabbets; when the steel pipe piles are adopted in the front row, the steel pipe piles in the front row are connected through rabbets. Soil pressure is mainly borne by the front-row piles, and the rear-row piles mainly provide anchoring force for the front-row piles and bear certain soil pressure at the same time. The retaining structure is reliable in water stopping, environmentally friendly, recyclable, high in construction efficiency, low in manufacturing cost, short in construction period, small in influence on surrounding buildings (structures) and free of influence on later facility construction, and has good economic benefits and social benefits.
