The invention relates to a guide system (18) for guiding at least one movable furniture part (2), in particular a door leaf (2a, 2b), in a direction parallel to at least one furniture wall (3a, 3b), comprising at least one guide device (4) for guiding the at least one movable furniture part (2), by means of which the at least one movable furniture part (2) can be guided in a direction parallel to the at least one furniture wall (3a, 3b). The at least one movable furniture part (2) can be guided at a predetermined distance from the at least one furniture wall (3a, 3b), and wherein the guide system (18) has at least one sliding device (10) which is separate from the guide device (4) and which can be arranged on the at least one movable furniture part (2) or on the at least one furniture wall (3a, 3b), the at least one movable furniture part (2) and the at least one furniture wall (3a, 3b) can be in sliding contact with each other by means of the sliding device (10) when the distance is less than a predetermined distance.
