The preparation method comprises the following steps: weighing the aluminosilicate-based raw material, the alkaline exciting agent, the additive and the water according to the proportion, mixing the aluminosilicate-based raw material, the alkaline exciting agent and the water, adding the additive, and mixing and stirring to form homogeneous slurry; the slurry is poured into a mold, curing is conducted in the environment with the temperature being 20-90 DEG C and the humidity being 60%-90%, the curing time is not shorter than 28 days, and the constant condition is kept in the first 7 days. The geopolymer disclosed by the invention is a novel geopolymer material with high strength, low shrinkage, good bending resistance and environmental friendliness, and the material has the characteristics of high performance, high weather resistance and environmental friendliness.
