The method comprises the steps that firstly, an annular track is installed on a circular venue; secondly, the first steel pipe truss is hoisted to the annular track on the hoisting station; thirdly, the first steel pipe truss is moved along the annular track until the first steel pipe truss completely leaves the hoisting station; fourthly, a second steel pipe truss is hoisted to the annular track on the hoisting station; fifthly, the second steel pipe truss is fixedly connected with the first steel pipe truss and moves along the annular track till the second steel pipe truss and the first steel pipe truss completely leave the hoisting station; sixthly, the steps are repeated till all the steel pipe trusses are installed. According to the construction method, the annular track is arranged in advance, the steel pipe truss is hoisted to the annular track at the hoisting station through the hoisting equipment, the steel pipe truss is moved to the installation position through the annular track, and the hoisting equipment does not need to be moved in the whole installation process; the problems that in a traditional installation technology, hoisting equipment needs to be transferred at multiple positions, and the hoisting difficulty is large are solved.
